Service reviews are a great way to encourage those that are actively involved in our services as well as to refine what we do when we gather together. Reviews are only available to admins.

Defining your review

We have provided a basic review structure for you that covers Technical (anything to do with the sound system, projection, or other technical things), Music, Leading, Sermon, and Additional Comments. If you would like to change any of these categories or add more, you can do so in the Service section.

Reviewing a service

After a service’s scheduled time has passed you will be prompted to review the service. You will see a button next to the service in your service list.

Or if you’re on the services page, the button will be at the top right of the page.

If you don’t see the button yet, you may be looking at the wrong service. It will only show for services that have already happened.

When you enter a service review, Swerv will show you all relevant information about the service on the side to help prompt you as you go through the review. It will walk you through each section of the review as defined in your review structure.

Tasks

During the review you have the option to create tasks for people. For example, if you need to correct a typo in the lyrics for a song, you can assign a task to someone to ensure it actually gets done. At the start of a review you will be reminded of all incomplete tasks to make sure they are not forgotten.

Once you have completed a review you will have the option to send an email to everyone that had a task assigned to them.
